LIVE SOUND ENGINEERING
your peformance
What do I do?
As a live sound engineer, my job is to make sure a gig runs smoothly, whether it's a full band, solo vocalist, slate of different acts or a conference - it's up to me to make sure you can focus on delivering. Parts of my role include (but aren't limited to):
-
Working the mixing console/DAW
-
Setting up/packing down
-
Loading/unloading
-
and more

I've had the pure pleasure of working on a variety of different gigs over the years in a plethora of venues. It's been a learning curve most of the time but I can confidently say I can run almost any kind of gig of most sizes. As of late I've done lots of spontaneous pop up performances, a few in-house venues and travelled as far as Leeds.

I'm pretty confident on almost any console. Having used such a wide variety in the past from 48+ ultra-modern digital desks to basic 4 channel digital pub desks. If I've never used the equipment before your gig, I'd be pretty happy going in and using it but I will always dedicate a good amount of time to learning it before your event to be safe.
